The periodical "Décideurs Strategie Finance Droit", the French equivalent of Juve, gave its "Law & Litigation Award 2007" in the newly established category of independent European law firms (Firmes Européennes Indépendantes) to Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz. 20 commercial law firms throughout Europe received this prize for successful positioning in the market in competition with global offices. In Germany, apart from Nörr, Hengeler Mueller and Gleiss Lutz were selected. Over 700 lawyers from all over Europe took part in the prize-giving in Paris on Thursday 29 March. Patron of the event was the French Ministry of Justice.
