The French woodwind instrument manufacturer Buffet Crampon SAS has taken over the insolvent German instrument maker Schreiber & Keilwerth. A Noerr team led by the Frankfurt insolvency lawyer Dr. Thomas Hoffmann advised the purchaser on the transferred reorganisation out of insolvency. Buffet Crampon conducted a Due Diligence of Schreiber & Keilwerth and negotiations with the former shareholder Rutland Trust even before the insolvency. After a share purchase failed due to conflicting ideas of the participants and the making of an insolvency application by Schreiber & Keilwerth, Buffet Crampon has now bought the business from insolvency administrator Tobias Hoefer, name partner in the Hack Hoefer law firm, who initially continued to conduct the business in insolvency and implemented significant restructuring steps.

134 jobs in the existing location Markneukirchen have been rescued. With the inclusion of the Schreiber & Keilwerth business in the newly founded "Buffet Crampon Deutschland GmbH", a new world market leader for woodwind instruments comes into existence with good economic perspectives.
