Wirtschaftswoche: Wolfram Theiss in list of best lawyers for inheritance law

Wolfram Theiss is one of Germany’s best lawyers for inheritance law. According to a current survey by German business weekly Wirtschaftswoche, the Noerr partner was recommended particularly often by the experts interviewed for the survey for the list of “most renowned law firms for inheritance law”.

Wolfram Theiss has been included in industry press rankings for years and according to JUVE is one of the “leading advisors for entrepreneurs and wealthy individuals”. He advises private clients and family businesses concerning succession during lifetime and after death, establishing endowments and family companies as well as inheritance disputes before state courts or arbitration tribunals. He heads Noerr’s “Family Businesses & Private Clients” practice group together with Tobias Bürgers.

For the lists of best lawyers, the Handelsblatt Research Institute interviewed 934 lawyers from 198 law firms. A jury of experts then selected 30 law firms with 33 highly recommended succession lawyers.

Noerr partners are also in the other lists of best lawyers published by Wirtschaftswoche this year: Thomas Hoffmann Christian Pleister (both Frankfurt/Berlin) are among Germany's “most renowned restructurers”. Christian Pleister is also listed among the best corporate lawyers together with Tobias Bürgers (Munich), Alexander Hirsch, Jens Liese (both Düsseldorf) and Thorsten Reinhard (Frankfurt). Jens Liese is also one of the best lawyers for M&A. Andreas Butz (Düsseldorf) and Hans-Christoph Schimmelpfennig (Munich) are listed for employment law, Fabian Badtke (Frankfurt) and Alexander Birnstiel (Munich) for antitrust law, Christian Pelz and Martin Schorn for compliance, Peter Bräutigam and Thomas Thalhofer for IT law, Daniel Rücker for data protection (all Munich) and Olav Wagner (Berlin) for public procurement law. Finally, Thomas Gniadek and Ralph Nack are among the most renowned patent lawyers and Johannes Kreile (all Munich) is among the most renowned lawyers for copyright law.
