Ákos Mátés-Lányi

Ákos Mátés-Lányi heads the Corporate/M&A Department at Noerr’s Budapest office. He specialised on cross-border M&A, private equity and capital markets matters. He has substantial experience in a broad range of corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity transactions, disposals, joint ventures, corporate finance, restructurings and equity capital markets. He has extensive experience in advising private equity and venture capital clients. His expertise includes drafting and advising on and negotiating share purchase agreements, investment and shareholders’ agreements and management incentive plans with a particular view to ensure the compliance of such documents with the provisions of Hungarian law. Akos has also extensive knowledge as regards managing and handling sale processes, both on the sellers’ and the bidders’ side. He is a member of the Budapest Bar and a member of the Ethics Committee of the Hungarian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. He speaks Hungarian and English.
