Lucie Gerhardt, Member of the Litigation, Arbitration and ADR Practice Group, led an interactive workshop at the C5 Forum on Transatlantic Litigation on the topic: “Securing Victory in Transatlantic Litigation: Planning for Conflict in Times of Peace”. In the workshop, Lucie Gerhardt highlighted the risks that foreign parties face when litigating in Germany and offered practical advice on how to avoid pitfalls. Together with her international co-speakers and the participants, Lucie Gerhardt discussed the most striking differences between litigating in Germany, France, the U.K. and the U.S. The Forum took place on 16-18 June 2014 in Amsterdam and aimed at providing insights and solutions for those involved in complex multi-jurisdiction litigation.
