Azur Award for trainees and interns

27.02.2014

The law firm Noerr has received the Juve-Verlag Azur Award for its varied and very individual trainees‘ and interns‘ programmes. Noerr was, at 7 in Juve-Verlag‘s “azur100”, also ranked in a top position among the best employers for young lawyers. The ranking reflects the results of a survey by the azur editors of applicants and Associates as well as figures for new hires and salaries.

Noerr Head of Personnel Wolfgang Troll accepted the award at a prize-giving ceremony in the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. “Continuous further development of the trainee and intern concept Noerr Campus Jump and the integration of the Düsseldorf Summer Academy have been well worthwhile. We are very pleased with the award and the positive response of the participants.” Prior to the prize-giving, Troll participated in a panel discussion at the “Signale-Tagung” on the subject of the development of law firm academies also organised by Juve in cooperation with the Bucerius Center of the Legal Profession.

The citation for the award states: “Former trainees are thrilled. They praise the training at Noerr as ‘varied’ and ‘optimally adjusted to individual requirements’. This is not surprising since Noerr has tailor-made its own training programme for trainees and inters. Noerr also suits interns: in 2012, the law firm introduced a summer academy which is very well received. Law students are put through a compact and structured programme there.”
