05.02.2015

The law firm Noerr advised the leading British outsourcing service provider Capita on the announced takeover of the customer contact management service provider avocis. The purchase price is 210 million Euro. The transaction is pending approval by the Federal Cartel Office.

avocis is active in Germany, Switzerland and Austria (DACH) and has a strong market position in the DACH region. The company is currently under private equity majority ownership and provides customer contact management services in the telecommunications industry and to utility companies.

Capita has already made two smaller acquisitions in the German market and plans to combine the companies of the DACH region in a new business sector.

Noerr, with a team led by Dr. Thomas Schulz, comprehensively advised on the German law aspects of the transaction, in particular on employment law, commercial law, data protection law and corporate law. Addleshaw Goddard was the international leader.
