Noerr advises Daimler on takeover of Taxibeat by mytaxi

Noerr has advised Daimler AG on an acquisition in Greece. Daimler subsidiary Intelligent Apps GmbH – provider of the well-known e-hailing app mytaxi – has taken over Taxibeat, the Greek market leader in app-based taxi booking. The acquisition will help mytaxi to expand its position as the leading European provider of app-based taxi booking. mytaxi is active in a total of ten countries and has more than 100,000 registered drivers. Taxibeat was founded in 2011 and offers its services on the Greek and Peruvian markets. 

Noerr partners Dr Alexander Hirsch and Dr Maurice Séché acted for Daimler during the transaction and coordinated the work by the law firms involved.
