Noerr advises ECE on Germany-wide voucher card system

Noerr has provided ECE Projektmanagement G.m.b.H. & Co. KG with comprehensive legal advice in connection with a Germany-wide voucher card system. Hamburg-headquartered ECE is the European market leader in the shopping centre sector, managing around 200 shopping centres.

The advice provided by Kai-Michael Hingst and Karl-Alexander Neumann, who worked closely with in-house counsel Pia Maeßen, concerned all payment services and contract law issues for ECE’s collaboration with an international partner company that cooperates with an European e-money institute. The voucher card system was initially launched in 80 of the shopping centres managed by ECE in Germany during the Christmas season and is operated by the international partner company.
