With a team led by Sascha Leske and Felix Blobel, Noerr has advised Deposit Solutions on its merger with Raisin. The FinTech companies specialising in deposit savings will combine to form Raisin DS, which will provide services to banks and consumers in Europe and the USA.

Deposit Solutions is the leading B2B open banking platform in the savings deposit sector. The company operates deposit marketplaces for over 220 partners, including large institutions such as Deutsche Bank. Raisin is Europe’s largest B2C platform for savings and investments. Both companies are backed by renowned international investors such as Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Headline, Index Ventures, Kinnevik, PayPal Ventures, Peter Thiel und Ribbit Capital. The new company, that will work with around 400 banks and financial services providers from more than 30 countries, will be jointly led by the founders Tim Sievers (Deposit Solutions) and Tamaz Georgadze (Raisin).

Deposit Solutions, which since the investment by Deutsche Bank has been valued as a unicorn company, once again relied on Noerr for this transaction. Noerr had previously advised Deposit Solutions in matters including a financing round of more than $100 million and Deutsche Bank’s investment. Noerr has a market-leading practice of advising investors and founders of growth companies, regularly providing support on large and complex transactions with a special focus on FinTechs.
