Noerr advises Gold Tree on acquisition of Telekom property in Leipzig

25.08.2017

Once again, Noerr has advised the Gold Tree Group on a real estate transaction with a team from its Real Estate Investment Group (REIG). Using a forward deal, the Swiss real estate investor acquired yet another office property in the direct proximity of the Leipzig main train station from the Ten Brinke Group. Completion of the property, for which Deutsche Telekom has signed a long-term lease, is slated for the first quarter of 2018.

New workplaces for more than 700 Telekom employees will be available in the office building that was developed and built by the Ten Brinke Group. The Telekom call centre located across the street has been in Gold Tree’s portfolio since being acquired from Ten Brinke as early as 2012. McCafferty Asset Management, which has been entrusted with the facility management of the new building, also provided Gold Tree with economic advice during the transaction.

Already this year, with teams led by Annette Pospich Noerr has advised Gold Tree on acquiring Esprit Europe’s headquarters in Ratingen as well as a retail portfolio. Gold Tree has been relying on the advice of the Noerr partner for investments in Germany for years. Noerr’s Real Estate Investment Group (REIG) offers a unique range of advisory services. The practice group consists of more than 60 experts in all disciplines relevant to real estate and has steadily increased its market share in the last few years thanks to its interdisciplinary approach.
