Noerr advises investor Argos Wityu on financing of majority stake in the group aktivoptik

Noerr has advised the pan-European investment company Argos Wityu on the financing of its stake in the group aktivoptik. As part of a succession plan, the private equity company is acquiring a majority stake in Germany’s fifth-largest optician and hearing aid chains.

The founder and majority shareholder will continue to hold a stake in the company and act as CEO. Headquartered in Bad Kreuznach, the aktivoptik Group operates 63 of its own stores, most of which are located in hypermarkets, plus 13 franchise stores. The chain’s most recent turnover was around 50 million euros.
