Noerr advises IT solutions provider Logicalis Group on expansion of its German presence

The law firm Noerr LLP has advised UK-based Logicalis Group on the acquisition of Inforsacom, a German IT services and solutions provider. A Noerr team led by the Munich M&A partner Dr. Florian Becker supported Logicalis with this transaction.

Inforsacom has an annual turnover of more than EUR 100 million and employs 160 staff. With Logicalis one of the leading IT solutions and managed services providers has taken over Inforsacom. The Logicalis Group employs over 3,800 people worldwide and has annualised revenues of USD 1.6 billion. Logicalis forms a division of Datatec Limited, which is listed on the Johannesburg and London AIM Stock Exchanges, with revenues of approximately USD 6 billion.

The parties agreed to keep confidential the details of the transaction, which is still subject to the approval by the German Competition Authorities and the South African Reserve Bank and is expected to close in January 2015.
