Noerr advises Nord-Holding on investment in powercloud specialist CONUTI

28.02.2022

A Noerr team led by our Munich-based partner Holger H. Ebersberger has advised the private equity investment company NORD Holding on its investment in the IT consulting company CONUTI and on combining CONUTI with EWERK, a subsidiary acquired in 2020, to form a group.

Noerr’s interdisciplinary team advised NORD Holding on the acquisition, acquisition financing, reinvestment and management participation.

Founded in 2010, CONUTI GmbH develops software solutions for business-critical processes in the energy sector. Its customers include large energy suppliers, regional utility companies and other energy market players. Daniel Heinemann, one of CONUTI’s founders, will remain a shareholder after the transaction; his fellow founder, Marcus Tegetmeyer, will be leaving the company.

Since NORD Holding became its majority shareholder in 2020, EWERK has increased its market position as the leading full-service IT provider for customers in regulated sectors such as energy, healthcare and the public sector.

As members of the newly established group, EWERK and CONUTI contribute their strengths, resources and technical skills to create synergy effects. The group will continue to pursue an ambitious organic and inorganic growth strategy.
