Noerr advises on sale of Thomas Cook subsidiary Bucher Reisen & ÖGER TOURS GmbH to ANEX Tour

Noerr has advised the provisional insolvency administrator Julia Kappel-Gnirs (hww hermann wienberg wilhelm) on the sale of Bucher Reisen & ÖGER TOURS GmbH. The Thomas Cook GmbH subsidiary is being taken over by the Turkish tour operator ANEX Tour.

ANEX will also take over all 84 staff of ÖGER TOURS, a specialist tour operator for Turkey, and Bucher Reisen at the offices in Hamburg and Meerbusch. The acquisition is still subject to the consent of the creditors’ committee and clearance by the antitrust authorities.

A Noerr team led by Munich-based partner Florian Becker advised on this transaction. Florian Becker’s team already advised the provisional insolvency administrator of Thomas Cook GmbH on the sale of 106 travel agencies and its “Golden Gate” e-commerce platform to Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof.
