Noerr advises Real I.S. on real estate transaction in Berlin

Noerr has advised Real I.S. AG on a real estate acquisition in Berlin for the open-end mutual property fund “REALISINVEST EUROPA”. The investment fund manager of BayernLB purchased two sections of the building complex known as “Kontorhaus” near the Gendarmenmarkt square in the heart of Berlin.

The complex consists of a total of six individually designed parts. The main lessee of the two acquired building sections will be The Office Group. The two parts of the “Kontorhaus” complex, which were completely renovated in 1995 and partially rebuilt in 1996, are fully let and comprise a total of 7,745 square metres of lettable space. The property marks the third acquisition for the “REALISINVEST EUROPA” property fund of Real I.S. Two investments have already been made in the Netherlands. Launched in autumn 2019, the fund is intending to add an initial portfolio of five properties worth around EUR 300 million.
