Noerr advises redos on sale of hypermarkets

Noerr has advised the Hamburg-based redos Group on the sale of two hypermarkets in Bavaria to real estate company Herimo Immobilien. The properties are from the portfolio of the AIF “Redos Einzelhandel Deutschland”, an institutional fund focusing on the German retail sector.

The properties in Kempten (Allgäu region) and Pentling (district of Regensburg) cover rental space of 10,700 and 15,000 square metres, respectively. To date, the hypermarket in Pentling has been run entirely by the “real” chain and “real” has also been the main tenant in Kempten, occupying around 8,000 square metres. The sites will continue to exist following the sale.
