Noerr advises Silverfleet Capital on takeover of 7days Group

Noerr has advised Silverfleet Capital on its investment in the 7days Group. The pan-European private equity firm is acquiring a majority stake in the leading supplier for medical workwear used by healthcare professionals.

Sellers are the private equity firm Odewald KMU and the company founders Marc Staperfeld and Ulrich Dölken. The two founders will reinvest alongside Silverfleet Capital and remain with the Company.

Silverfleet Capital’s investment will enable 7days to increase its market position and penetration in Germany, further expand in existing international markets, enter new geographies such as Scandinavia and move into new customer segments. Silverfleet Capital is a leading European buy&build investor focussing on established businesses with an enterprise value between €75m and €300m. 7days designs, produces and sells working clothes for the health sector with a special focus on medical and dental surgeries. The company, which was established in 1999 and is headquartered in Lotte near Osnabrück, is active in Germany, as well as in Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, and has a production site in Morocco.

Completion is subject to approval by the authorities and the terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
