Noerr advises Stora Enso on the sale of the sheeting center in Baienfurt

Noerr has advised the Swedish/Finnish paper and packaging group Stora Enso on the sale of the sheeting center in Baienfurt by way of an asset day. The buyer is the Finnish Pyroll group, which is active on the field of paper, board and plastics processing.

In future the sheeting center in Baienfurt will provide sheeting services to Stora Enso. The sheeting center cuts approx. 110,000 tons of paper per year and has around 60 employees. Closing of the transaction is expected to occur inQ1 2018.

Noerr advises Stora Enso on a regular basis. Recently, Noerr has advised Stora Enso on the divestment of the paper mill inlUetersen.
