Noerr advises Swegon Group on acquisition of Zent-Frenger

Noerr LLP advised the Swedish Swegon Group on the acquisition of all shares in Zent-Frenger GmbH from the Finnish Uponor Group. Zent-Frenger is a leading provider of cooling ceilings and heat pumps that also offers comprehensive energy solutions for ventilation and air-conditioning technology in buildings. With its approximately 100 employees, the company achieved sales of EUR 29 million in Germany in 2017.

The two companies signed a share purchase agreement to implement the deal. The acquisition, which was subject to approval by antitrust authorities, was successfully closed in October 2018. Noerr provided Swegon with comprehensive advice for the transaction under the leadership of partner Holger Alfes (Frankfurt).
