Noerr advises the owner of STEINEL Group on investment by ADCURAM

Noerr has advised the owner of the the family-run STEINEL Group on the acquisition of an equity stake by ADCURAM Group AG. A Munich-based, privately-owned industrial group, ADCURAM will hold a majority stake in STEINEL.

Founded in 1959, STEINEL is specialised in sensors, sensor-switched lights as well as hot air devices and industrial components and has a total of 1.500 employees. Apart from its headquarter in Herzebrock-Clarholz, the group has facilities in Leipzig, Einsiedeln (Switzerland), the Czech Republic, Romania and Moldova. The seller and entrepreneur Ingo Steinel will retain a stake in the company and continue to act as the group’s managing director. ADCURAM will support STEINEL in implementing its further growth strategy.

The transaction is still subject to clearance by the competition authorities.
