Noerr dominates top 10 of M&A advisors with most deals

Noerr’s M&A advisors occupy the top positions for M&A in Germany and the DACH region for 2019. This is the result of statistics of Mergermarket based on the number of transactions advised on.

 With Christoph Thiermann (1st place), Georg Schneider (2nd place) and Robert Korndörfer (3rd place), Noerr advisors occupy the top three for Germany, with a total of five Noerr lawyers in the German top 10 alone. Noerr also takes 7th and 8th place with Holger Ebersberger and Florian Becker, respectively. And the DACH top 5 are also dominated by Noerr, with Christoph Thiermann coming in second, Georg Schneider third and Robert Korndörfer fourth.

In 2019, Noerr was the M&A leader among the law firms based in the German-speaking countries (DACH). With 63 completed deals, the law firm again took first place in Mergermarket’s ranking for the DACH region. Noerr was already market leader in M&A in 2018. In the German annual rankings of Bloomberg, Mergermarket and Refinitiv (Thomson Reuters), Noerr is also consistently among the top 2 law firms (completed deals) and has thus once again further strengthened its leading position in the field of M&A.
