Torsten Fett and Alexander Ritvay will remain at Noerr’s helm for another three years. The partners confirmed both of them in their positions as the firm’s managing partners.

Torsten Fett and Alexander Ritvay have jointly headed Noerr since 2019; Alexander Ritvay has held the position of managing partner since 2013. Together, they are keeping Noerr on a successful and sustainable path to growth. In the German market alone, revenue has increased by around 54 percent since 2013, and by 9.3 percent to €253 million in 2020.

The firm’s economic success is largely based on the continuous qualitative development of its business. Noerr invests heavily in its own talent and strengthens its position in strategic growth areas with selective top lateral hires. In 2020, for example, four renowned corporate partners from a US law firm joined Noerr. Their move confirms the high attractiveness of a law firm model that combines a partnership culture and independence with a clear focus on qualitative growth.

Torsten Fett is co-head of the firm’s Compliance & Internal Investigations practice group; he advises management boards and supervisory boards on corporate, capital markets and financial markets supervisory law. Torsten Fett regularly assists banks, financial services providers and companies in internal investigations as well as providing preventative support in implementing and developing compliance management systems. He has been with Noerr since 2001 and was admitted to the partnership in 2008.

Alexander Ritvay joined Noerr in 1995 and became a partner in 2000. He was on leave from 2000 to 2003; during this time, he was a member of the management board of KirchGruppe and was, for example, responsible for Formula 1 and the merger of ProSieben and SAT.1. He advises on complex transactions and cross-border projects and is considered by industry media to be one of the leading M&A advisors in Europe.

The new term of office of Torsten Fett and Alexander Ritvay will begin on 1 January 2022.
