Noerr represents PreZero on acquisition of Komart

Noerr has advised PreZero (a Schwarz Group company) on the acquisition of Komart, a significant provider of municipal and industrial waste management services in Poland. The transaction is a strategic complement to PreZero's activity in Poland. Noerr team led by Radosław Biedecki (Noerr Warszawa) and Gerald Reger (Munich), provided PreZero with comprehensive transactional advice.

PreZero International GmbH acquired 100 % of shares of Komart Sp. z o.o., the market leader in waste management in Upper Silesia Region. The acquisition process was finally completed on 30 April. The transaction value has not been disclosed by the parties.

PreZero is one of the leading providers of environmental services, employing more than 3,500 people at 90 locations in Europe and North America. The company has been active on the Polish market since the takeover of the Tönsmeier Group and its subsidiaries by the PreZero parent company GreenCycle. Noerr advised on this transaction as well.
