28.04.2020

In the first quarter of 2020, Noerr is once again the clear number 1 in M&A advisory among law firms located in the German-speaking countries (DACH region). With a total of 20 completed transactions, the firm leads the ranking published by information service Mergermarket by a clear margin. Noerr was the M&A market leader in 2018 and 2019 as well.

Of the 20 transactions, the M&A teams from the Noerr Corporate/M&A, Capital Markets and Private Equity practice groups supported 13 on the buyer side and seven on the seller side, most of them cross-border matters. Mergermarket emphasises that Noerr thereby also proved its strength in the financial services sector, advising on eight transactions in that industry.

Noerr also came first in Germany in the league tables produced by Bloomberg and Refinitiv, thus highlighting once again its top position in the field of M&A in the first quarter of 2020.
