Noerr wins Digital Champions 2021 Award

Noerr is one of the Digital Champions 2021. At the DIGITAL X trade fair in Cologne, the firm was awarded first prize in the main category which concerns the digital transformation of SME (Digital Transformation Mittelstand). The Digital Champions Award is a joint project of the business magazine WirtschaftsWoche and Deutsche Telekom.

According to the jury, Noerr is “on the fast track to digitalisation”. Two years ago, the law firm launched its “Digital Fast Track” programme. It made its infrastructure more flexible through virtualisation and cloud services, modernised its IT applications and promoted the digital mindset among its employees. As specialist applications, Noerr introduced due diligence with artificial intelligence, document automation, electronic files and digital deadline monitoring. During the pandemic, the employees were able to work from home at short notice. The coronavirus year 2020 brought a record business result, the jury added.

“We are delighted to receive this award,” says Noerr’s Chief Information Officer Christian Ammer. “I would like to thank all colleagues involved who made this success possible.” Noerr consistently relies on the networking of IT specialists, lawyers and project experts to jointly develop new ideas for digitalisation.

The Digital Champions Award honours digital showcase projects and innovative solutions. Prizes are awarded to companies that have profitably integrated digital technologies and solutions into their operations. An independent jury of experts from the University of St Gallen and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne assists in the selection of the award winners.
