Success at the British Legal Awards 2016 – Noerr is European Law Firm of the Year

Noerr is “European Law Firm of the Year”. The law firm has received the title at the British Legal Awards 2016, which is organised by specialist magazine Legal Week. The award was accepted by Dr Thomas Schulz, head of Noerr’s London office, at a gala in London.

“The winning law firm (…) impressed the judges with its financial performance, commitment to diversity and entrepreneurial culture,” the jury stated in its justification. “In this way the jurors are especially underlining our successful approach of pursuing sustainable and qualitative growth,” said co-speaker and managing partner Dr Tobias Bürgers. He added that this successful strategy is currently evident in “Digitalisation/Industry 4.0”, for instance, a topic with special significance for the future. Similarly, the publisher JUVE points out that Noerr is well ahead of its competitors in this respect.

Noerr has recently received a range of accolades at an international level. Apart from Legal Week, publications such as Chambers have named the firm “Germany Law Firm of the Year 2015” and The Lawyer awarded Noerr the title of “Law Firm of the Year 2015: Germany”. A jury from the prestigious US magazine American Lawyer also presented Noerr with an award for the category “Global Dispute of the Year: U.K. Litigation” in 2015.
