Transatlantic Legal Awards 2017 – Noerr honoured for advising trivago on its New York IPO

The prestigious magazines American Lawyer and Legal Week have honoured Noerr for its advisory work on trivago’s IPO on the NASDAQ in New York. At the Transatlantic Legal Awards 2017, the team led by Düsseldorf-based partners Dr Jens Liese (Corporate) and Dr Ingo Theusinger (Capital Markets) plus the Berlin-based partner Dr Carsten Heinz (Tax) were honoured as Transatlantic Equity Capital Markets Team of the Year. The award was bestowed in London last night.

The global hotel search website headquartered in Düsseldorf has been listed on the NASDAQ since late 2016. The team from Noerr provided comprehensive support for the IPO and advised trivago on corporate restructuring and on German capital markets law. As the lead counsel, Noerr also coordinated other law firms involved in the transaction. Late last year, Noerr was named European Law Firm of the Year in the British Legal Awards 2016.
