Wirtschaftswoche: Noerr’s employment and corporate lawyers in “best list” again

The German business news weekly WirtschaftsWoche has named partners of Noerr as among Germany’s best lawyers. Its current “best list” recommends Patrick Mückl and Hans-Christoph Schimmelpfennig for employment law and Jens Liese and Christian Pleister for corporate law.

Christian Pleister (Frankfurt/Berlin) is a leading expert for complex transactions and reorganisations. Most recently, he accompanied the worldwide sales and liquidation processes of the insolvent Wirecard group, for example. Jens Liese (Düsseldorf) has particular experience in corporate restructuring; his clients include international groups such a Arla Foods. Wirtschaftswoche also considers both Noerr partners to be among Germany’s best M&A lawyers. Christian Pleister is included in the list of top restructuring lawyers.

Patrick Mückl (Düsseldorf) advises national and international companies on all issues involving individual and collective employment law and specialises in company restructuring and reorganisation. Hans-Christoph Schimmelpfennig (Munich) has many years of experience in advising industrial, trade and aviation companies as well as managers on all aspects of employment law.

To draw up its “best lists” for employment and corporate law, the Handelsblatt Research Institute surveyed 4,900 legal professionals from 270 law firms.
