World market leader

The law firm Noerr advises the US and world leading crowd testing company uTest on the acquisition of all the shares in the Berlin provider testhub. By this acquisition, uTest secures a rapid entry to the European markets. At the same time,  uTest changes its name and will in future be known globally on the market as “Applause”.

testhub is the leading German company for crowd-based software testing. Website and e-shop operators and providers of Apps submit their software for testing by many users under real conditions. The German testhub team will remain in the Berlin office and work in future as “Applause EU“ on the German and European market. More than 140,00 testers in 200 countries will be active worldwide for Applause.  

Part of the purchase price is a participation of the seller of testhub (founder and Business Angel) in the US holding Applause App Quality Inc. The transaction is expected to be closed in mid-May.
