Dr Martin Landauer, M.Jur. (Oxford) advises German and international clients on all aspects of the German law relating to employment contracts and contracts for services. He acts for employers in disputes with employees, works councils, personnel committees and trade unions. His expertise covers individual and collective employment law as well as social security matters. He assists companies in complex restructuring projects at the operational level and during headcount adjustments, relocations and closures of businesses, outsourcing to external providers and transfers of undertaking resulting for instance from corporate transactions. Other key areas of Martin’s practice include corporate co-determination and advice on the labour law aspects of compliance systems and investigations.
Martin studied at the University of Regensburg, Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the University of Oxford (UK). He is a member of the employment law working group at the German Bar Association, the author of many specialist publications and often appears as a speaker at employment law seminars and presentations.
