Jan Moritz Lang

Senior Associate
Practice Group Antitrust & Competition

Jan advises clients on all matters of European and German competition law and regulatory issues. Based in Noerr’s Brussels office, he focuses in particular on merger control proceedings, international cartel investigations as well as abuse of dominance cases. His advice ranges from preventive compliance mechanisms and advice on vertical relationships such as distribution schemes over assistance in administrative proceedings to a client’s representation before the Union’s courts in Luxembourg or German courts. Most recently, he has been part of the Noerr team that secured full immunity for a US company in a cartel case relating to a procurement situation and represented a leading watch manufacturer as an intervener in an action for annulment brought against the European Commission’s decision not to initiate investigations against the watch manufacturers.
Prior to joining Noerr, Jan has contributed as national expert to a report commissioned by the European Commission on the evaluation of Regulation 1/2003, with particular regard to access to file and the complaint scheme.
