Klaudyna Lichnowska specializes in local and international financing and M&A transactions. She advises banks, credit institutions and borrowers, in particular in real estate financing. She has experience in large-scale M&A projects, due diligence and compliance reviews, as well as ongoing legal services for companies. She also advises on various regulatory issues including those connected with finance and banking (overall FinTech).

  • The Bank of New York Mellon: advice on LMA based syndicated loan documentation in several insolvency proceedings over the borrower's group (2012-2016)
  • Deutsche Postbank AG: several projects involving the financing, refinancing and security restructuring of over 40 real properties in Poland, including commercial centres, office buildings and hotel facilities (2012-2017)
  • Banks from the Raiffeisen group: ongoing advice on factoring services as well as on several financing and refinancing transactions involving Polish debtors (2012-2016)
  • IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG: advice on a financing transaction regarding the acquisition of machines by a major producer of car parts (2016)
  • Major French factoring company and credit insurer: advice in connection with cross-border financing involving three high-value revolving loans from three leading banks operating on the French market (2015)
  • Group of banks: advise in connection with a multijurisdictional securitization transaction relating to various local and non-local law governed trade receivables sold to several banks via an SPV (2017)
  • Polish branch of a German bank: comprehensive advice on the rescue financing of a major producer of frozen food, including advice on the intercreditor agreement (2013)
  • Verlagsgruppe Weltbild: advice on insolvency related issues in connection with winding up of Polish business (2013)
  • Foodpanda Group/Rocket Internet: A series of transactions / planned transactions with its competitor Delivery Hero in CEE, Latin America and South East Asia (2016)
