The German weekly business news magazine Wirtschaftswoche has honoured three Noerr partners with Legal All Stars Awards. Thomas Klindt won first place in the Product Liability category, Peter Bräutigam has been named a Legal All Star in the category of IT for the fourth consecutive time and Bärbel Sachs was recognised for Foreign Trade.

The Legal All Star Awards, presented by Wirtschaftswoche, celebrate the top achievers across 31 different areas of law. These accolades are based on an evaluation conducted by the Handelsblatt Research Institute, which includes a multi-tiered process encompassing archival research, surveys among piers and deliberations by juries within each specific area of law.

Peter Bräutigam is a proven specialist in the field of information technology law and advises on all kinds of issues relating to IT law and digitalisation, including the legal implications of artificial intelligence and data rights. His expertise spans IT outsourcing/BPO contracts, cloud computing, framework and software project contracts, service level agreements, data protection, cybersecurity, agile programming and software licensing issues. For years, Noerr has been awarded a five-star rating by the specialist publisher JUVE in the IT categories of contracts and licences, as well as in transactions and outsourcing.

Thomas Klindt, who serves as joint head of Noerr’s Product Liability & Product Compliance team, boasts a rich background as an industrial lawyer, specialising in navigating product liability crises. He has a strong track record of representing companies in product liability litigation and has successfully managed many international product recalls, ensuring effective communication with regulatory bodies throughout the process. In the JUVE Handbook of German Commercial Law Firms, Noerr consistently receives a five-star rating in the product liability category.

Bärbel Sachs heads the International Trade & Investment Controls and Regulatory & Governmental Affairs practice groups at Noerr. Since 2006, she has been advising clients on all areas of German, European and international trade law, including export control, customs duties and embargo law. JUVE has also consistently placed Noerr among the law firms rated with five stars in the area of foreign trade law for several years.
