Iulian Sorescu, FCCA, CMC

Iulian Sorescu is a financial advisor who heads our Financial, State Aid & Management Consulting departments in Romania. As an experienced certified public accountant, he is also a member of ACCA UK, CECCAR, CAFR and AMCOR. Iulian coordinates strategic advice offered to our clients on all business and financial issues such as financial advisory, financial due diligence, financial audit according to IFRS, US/German GAAP and Romanian standards, financial reporting and controlling, bookkeeping, payroll and management consulting. One of his key priorities is to help our clients improve or maintain their financial performance by coordinating and monitoring their internal activities and optimising their structures. In 2008, Iulian set up our State Aid department in Bucharest. Since then, our team has successfully assisted many international companies in obtaining financing approval for state aid, by preparing their business plans and business models and providing assistance in dealings with the Romanian Ministry of Public Finances. The projects involved either extending the existing production capacities/business of international companies or greenfield investments.
