Warning! Fake emails misusing the name Noerr

20.02.2026

Unknown third parties are currently sending emails using the domain “noerrrechtsanwaelte.de” and pretending to be “Noerr Rechtsanwälte” or “Noerr Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB/Noerr PartGmbB”. The emails contain a list using a title with wording such as “Insolvency proceedings liquidation catalogue” or similar (Verwertungskatalog Insolvenzverfahren) in which supposed insolvency assets (including agricultural machinery, construction machinery, high-value vehicles, precious metals, copper, stainless steel and aluminium products) are offered for sale.

The perpetrators are not only using the name and corporate design of our firm, but in some cases are also misusing the identities of individual lawyers and partners to give the impression that genuine insolvency proceedings conducted by Noerr are involved.

Please note the following points in relation to this:

  • Domains like noerr-rechtsanwaelte.de or noerr-deutschland.de do not belong to the firm; our official domain is com.
  • These emails and the accompanying list of assets (“liquidation catalogue” or similar) are being sent without the knowledge, involvement or consent of Noerr. We regard this as attempted fraud in which the name of our firm and the identities of our lawyers are being misused to sell supposed insolvency goods and obtain payments under false pretences.
  • If you receive an email that appears to have been sent by someone at Noerr but whose content you cannot clearly identify, please contact that person by telephone before responding to the message. If in doubt, only use the official contact channels published at noerr.com.
  • In particular, do not make any payments. Do not open any unexpected attachments and do not click on links in suspicious messages.

We have immediately taken technical and legal steps to combat this abuse and are working with the relevant authorities.

Your security is our top priority.
