The quest for investors for the various companies of the insolvent SH+E Group is progressing. Supported by a team from the law firm Noerr, the major part of the core water and waste water disposal technology business has been sold to investors with a long-term outlook. The main investor is SKion GmbH, the investment company of the entrepreneur Susanne Klatten.

With effect on 1 June, significant assets of Stulz Planaqua GmbH (Grafenhausen) and of H+E Protec GmbH (Bonndorf) have been assigned to subsidiaries of SKion. It has thereby been possible to save 184 jobs. The creditors’ committee unanimously approved the sales.

In an asset deal, another investor takes over – also with effect on 1 June – the existing facility of Stulz Planaqua GmbH in Bremen. The purchaser is the medium-sized Metz Group which thereby also secures the 40 jobs in Bremen.

Noerr already advised the insolvency administrator Tobias Hoefer on the sale of the SH+E stake in MICRODYN-NADIR.
