Noerr advises censhare on majority investments in Kontrast and 360dialog

Noerr provided censhare AG with legal support on acquiring majority stakes in the Düsseldorf-based agency Kontrast Communication Services GmbH and in the Berlin marketing platform 360dialog GmbH. Teams led by partners Georg Schneider and Marlies Raschke advised the client.

The takeovers have led to the creation of a combined company with some 500 employees and turnover of approximately €45m. At the same time, the transactions extend the marketing technology portfolio of the DuMont media group, an investor of censhare AG. By acquiring the Kontrast agency, censhare is expanding its consultancy skills in particular, while 360dialog improves censhare’s options for orchestrating marketing campaigns in real time and in the area of omnichannel customer loyalty.

censhare AG was founded in 2001 and is one of the leading technological providers of marketing cloud services. Among its corporate customers in Europe and the US are BMW, Deutsche Bank, Jaguar, McDonald’s, Swiss Re and Rewe. censhare develops marketing and communication solutions for them to correlate and control data and information in business processes via seamless media or processes. The company has branches in the UK, the US, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and India.

Noerr previously advised censhare AG last year with a team led by Georg Schneider on an investment by the DuMont media group.
