Noerr advises GBA Group on acquisition of Polish analytics company JARS

Noerr's Warsaw office has advised GBA Group, one of Germany’s leading laboratory testing service providers, on the acquisition of JARS S.A., a Polish company that operates a chain of laboratories focusing on environmental analytics, foodstuffs, consumer goods and pharmaceutical analytics. The Noerr team provided complex transactional advice including due diligence, drafting and negotiating the SPA, as well as all post-transactional services.

GBA is a mid-sized group with 25 facilities and 1,200 employees. The company already has a track record of acquiring and integrating other firms, and more acquisitions are planned. The acquisition of JARS marks a successful entry into the Polish market and with it the GBA Group is continuing its international expansion and extending its network toward Eastern Europe.
