Noerr advises Oakley Capital on acquisitions in European telecommunications market

The commercial law firm Noerr has advised and assisted Oakley Capital with respect to the acquisition of majority stakes in the German and Polish subsidiaries owned and operated by the consulting and systems company Damovo. Damovo is specialised in integrated solutions in the field of unified communications and collaboration (UCC). 

The buyer is the fund “Oakley Capital Private Equity II”, which is acquiring the shares from Damovo II S.à r.l. Besides the German and Polish operations, Oakley is also acquiring Damovo’s operations in Belgium, Ireland and Switzerland as well as Damovo’s Global Services business. The British telecommunications provider Daisy Group is also investing in Damovo’s European companies.

Responsible for the overall coordination was Addleshaw Goddard. Noerr is one of the leading European advisors in the area of private equity and has recently advised clients such as Zurmont Madison on the sale of Röder Zeltsysteme to RAG-Stiftung and Silverfleet Capital on the sale of Aesica Pharmaceuticals.
