Noerr advises operator of Berlin’s airports comprehensively on acquisition of ILA site

Noerr has advised Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) on the acquisition of ExpoCenter Airport Berlin Brandenburg GmbH. The sellers are the former shareholders Messe Berlin and Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH. By way of this transaction, FBB acquires the site adjacent to the airport BER, on which the International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA) regularly takes place (ILA site).

By means of this transaction FBB acquires the additional halls urgently required to operate the airport BER and thereby avoids having to build and develop new halls and sites on its own. Despite the additional use, ILA is to remain at the BER airport in the long term.
