Home24 takes over Fashion For Home – Noerr and Home24 inhouse counsel advise on the transaction

Noerr has advised Home24 AG on the full acquisition of fashion4home GmbH. The Noerr team led by Dr. Sascha Leske worked closely together with the company’s inhouse legal department led by General Counsel Dr. André Schneider.

With the merger of the two companies, Home24 AG further expands its position as Europe’s largest online furniture dealer. Fashion For Home is one of the leading European e-commerce players, offering high-quality design furniture at very attractive prices. The Berlin-headquartered company is active in Germany and Austria, as well as in the Netherlands. Following the takeover, both brands will continue to exist and will in future be run under the umbrella of Home24 AG.

Noerr advises Home24 regularly on corporate law issues, including in connection with financing rounds and the entry of new investors – most recently on the investment of the British investment management firm Baillie Gifford as well as other investors.
