Your tasks:
- As a member of an experienced team consisting of German and English native speakers, you will be responsible for translating difficult texts covering all aspects of business and law from German into English.
- This also includes editing and proofreading texts already drafted in English and revising translations produced using machine translation services.
- You contribute towards ensuring terminological consistency and internal quality standards.
- Your responsibilities also include careful terminology and research work.

What we expect from you:
- Your native language is English and you also have an excellent command of German.
- You have completed training as a legal translator (university degree or comparable qualification) and have several years of professional experience in this field, ideally acquired at a major international law firm.
- You never lose track of what is important and make sure that your work is always of high quality, even under time pressure.
- You enjoy familiarising yourself quickly with new topics and are able to react flexibly to new requirements.
- You stand out for your excellent project and time management skills.
- You are solution- and results-orientated.
- Your key strengths include an outstanding sense of commitment.
- You are a team player and value the close working relationship with your colleagues.
- You are familiar with automatic translation tools or are open to working with them.
- Ideally, you are publicly certified and a sworn translator of legal English.
- Proximity to one of our locations would be nice
