Noerr advises US Investor Eli Global in acquisition of Damovo

Noerr has advised US Investor Eli Global in the acquisition of the majority stake of Damovo, an IT and telecommunications technology provider based in Düsseldorf. Eli Global is purchasing Damovo group through a subsidiary. The vendor is the former investor Oakley Capital Private Equity II.

Damovo is an internationally leading provider of managed services and communication solutions for companies and has been valued at €140 million following the transaction. As a result of this Oakley Capital has reached 57% IRR. Globally Damovo caters for over 2.000 clients in 120 countries. Oakley acquired the majority of Damovo in 2015, which was also counselled by Noerr and Addleshaw Goddard. 214 of Damovo’s 462 overall employees are employed in Germany.

The transaction is yet to be approved by the regulatory authorities.
