Noerr advises US semiconductor provider Microsemi on acquisition of Vectron International

Noerr has advised the US-based Microsemi Corporation on the acquisition of the high performance timing business of Vectron International from US-based Knowles Corporation.  The Noerr team has advised the leading provider of semiconductor solutions comprehensively on all German-law related aspects of the transaction.

The Nasdaq-listed Microsemi acquired the business segment for US$130 million. Vectron is a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of frequency control, sensor and hybrid solutions. The acquired business is located in several countries including Germany.
