Noerr supports FinTech company MyBucks with its Frankfurt IPO

27.06.2016

Noerr has supported the FinTech company MyBucks with its initial public offering on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Acting as Transaction Counsel, Noerr has provided comprehensive advice both to the company and to the issuing bank Hauck & Aufhäuser. This is the second time Noerr has been involved in an IPO in Frankfurt within just a few weeks. The MyBucks shares were offered to investors in a public offering in Luxembourg and Germany and to qualified investors in private placements.

MyBucks is s profitable FinTech company for years with a broad international setup. The Luxembourg company offers a wide-ranging portfolio of financial services in nine African and two European countries, including loan and banking products and insurance. The IPO revenues are to be used to finance further corporate growth and the planned takeover of a pan-African financial group, the US-based Opportunity International Inc.

By advising on the IPO of MyBucks S.A., Noerr once again has shown its expertise in providing innovative advice on complex transaction structures. Within the transaction, which required the production of complex historical financial information and pro-forma information, an international Noerr team coordinated various audit companies and law firms in over 15 jurisdictions in Europe and Africa.
