Konrad Gieseler

Konrad is an Associated Partner in Noerr's Frankfurt office. He advises companies in connection with extensive internal investigations. In particular, he advises corporate bodies with regard to compliance and liability issues. In addition, Konrad represents companies in complex corporate disputes before state courts. He has proven expertise in the pharma, finance and automotive sectors.

Projects

  • DAX 40-Company: Advising the board of directors on possible claims for breaches of duty by employees in connection with years of global corruption practices in the group, which had already been the subject of settlements with US authorities; internal investigation of the events and their legal processing according to German and respective local law; coordination with the lawyers of the supervisory board with regard to the examination of a possible liability of the executive bodies
  • DAX 40-Company: Advising the management board in connection with allegations of misconduct in communications by a member of the management board
  • Deutsche Bahn AG: Advising the executive board in regard of investigations of consultancy agreements with former members of governing bodies of group companies
  • Deutsche Börse AG: Advising the supervisory board on suspicion of insider trading by the former chairman of the executive board
  • Commerzbank AG: Advising the supervisory board and investigating the responsibility of the management board members for penalty payments in the US
  • Deutsche Bahn: Various internal investigations for group companies, including advising the respective governing body
  • Globally operating car manufacturer: Internal investigation regarding potentially unlawful deployment of external personnel
  • Hightech telecommunications company: Defense against alleged claims arising from an incentive program for members of the corporate bodies
  • Capricorn Nürburgring: Representing the race track company in court against an events agency in regard of arising claims from a festival collaboration
  • Software company: Representing the company in a litigation regarding a joint venture, especially defense against a corporate action requesting the change of legal status
