Antonia von Appen is a senior associate in the IT-law-practice group with a specialized focus on IT outsourcings. With a proven track record in handling multi-million international projects, Antonia von Appen brings expertise in navigating complex legal landscapes to deliver tailored, strategic solutions for her clients, which include DAX-listed as well as medium-sized companies, private equity funds and start-ups. In addition to her experience in IT outsourcings and cloud computing, Antonia's practice also encompasses negotiating software licensing agreements and in particular AI licensing. Her engagement in these fields extends to regular speaking assignments at national and international conferences on AI- and IT-law-related topics. Beyond the above practice areas, Antonia has a particular interest in copyright, art law, and blockchain technology, notably demonstrated by her PhD-thesis on blockchain-based crypto-investments in art and further publications in this sector.
