Together with the Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. (BDI) we are delighted to invite you to the next edition of the Brussels Trade Café on 20 May 2026.

Our panelists will examine how the EU and Member States are rethinking their approach to foreign direct investment and economic sovereignty. We will take a closer look at the EU Screening Regulation overhaul as well as national initiatives and implementation plans. We will also analyse the recommendation on outbound investment screening and the proposed Industrial Accelerator Act, and discuss the broader context of the EU’s economic security agenda and its implications for companies.
