Our commitment to sustainable cooperation with our suppliers
Noerr is committed to respecting human rights and protecting the environment. It works with its suppliers to implement these values in order to reduce environmental impact and improve working conditions in the supply chain. Noerr has documented its due diligence obligations with regard to human rights and environmental issues in its policy statement.
The Noerr Supplier Code forms the basis for our cooperation with suppliers and provides the framework for working with our partners.
The Code is based on internationally recognised standards and defines binding minimum requirements across the entire supply chain. It prohibits both child labour and forced labour and ensures that working conditions are humane and that remuneration and working hours comply with legal requirements. At the same time, it protects the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining and contains clear guidelines on environmental protection, reducing pollution and the economical use of resources.
Noerr implements appropriate monitoring and control processes to identify risks in the supply chain at an early stage. Employees, business partners and third parties can use Noerr’s complaints portal (https://noerr.integrityline.app/) to submit complaints anonymously.
If we become aware of risks or violations of applicable standards, we immediately initiate appropriate preventive and remedial measures and report these in connection with the service or delivery for Noerr.
Mandatory compliance training sessions further communicate the requirements of our supplier management system while providing guidance on mitigating human rights risks. Moreover, Noerr has designated contact persons in compliance and sustainability management who manage the risk processes outlined above and take additional steps where needed.
